HAVE SOME HISTORIC FUN with classic frontier games like draughts, dominoes, faro, pick up sticks, and other merriments. Participants will also get to enjoy a special display of frontier toys courtesy of the San Jacinto Museum.
SPARK! is a free program for caregivers and loved ones experiencing beginning to mid-stage Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss. These free programs will take place on the second Tuesday of every month.
SPARK! programs feature interactive experiences in a welcoming environment. Specially-trained museum educators engage participants in lively discussions, artmaking, encountering museum artifacts, and other multi-sensory activities.
Registration is free to the public and is required prior to participation. All registrations must be received at least five days in advance of selected programs.
