CRIER, ANDREW - Born in 1820. In the headright certificate issued to him February 1, 1838 by the Board of Land Commissioner for Colorado County Board it is stated that he came to Texas prior to March 2, 1836. Joseph Ehlinger and John Crier appeared as witnesses for him.

Mr. Crier was issued Bounty Certificate No. 2709 for 320 acres of land for having served in the army from March 18 to June 18, 1836. On November 8, 1839 he was issued Donation Certificate No 943 for 640 acres of land for services rendered in the army at Harrisburg.
Mr. Crier was a member of Fayetteville Lodge No. 24 of the Masonic Lodge. He died in Fayette County in 1875 while a member of the Texas Veterans Association.
