Mr. White served in Captain Michael Costley's Company from September 11 to December 11, 1836. He and Mary Wells were married by Chas. C. Grayson, justice of the peace, August 12, 1837, and in the following year obtained his certificate for his league and labor of land, 354 acres of which he sold to Pleasant H. Pearson July 8, 1841, (Nacogdoches County Deed Records Volume I, page 187.)
Mr. White's name appears several times as a jury man in the District Court in Nacogdoches, during the days of the republic. The Deed records of Nacogdoches county show him a resident of that county as late as July 8, 1841.
