GREENLAW, AUGUS -- Listed on page 21 of the army rolls in the General Land Office as a member of Captain T.F.L. Parrott's Company in 1835. At San Jacinto he was a member of Captain Moseley Baker's San Felipe Company and on March 14, 1860 was issued Donation Certificate No. 706 for 640 acres of land for having participated in the battle. He did not apply for the land due him as a headright for having served in the army other than at San Jacinto.

Mr. Greenlaw was living in New Orleans December 22, 1859, when he applied for his San Jacinto Donation land. His Petition is in the Court of Claims files in the General Land Office, he stated among other things, that he "fought at Mission Concepcion and drove the celebrated cannon "3 legged Willie" from San Felipe to San Antonio."
