CAMPBELL, MICHAEL -- A member of Captain Henry Teal's Company who was attached to Captain Isaac N. Moreland's Artillery Company at San Jacinto. On page _____ of the army rolls in the General Land Office he is shown as a member of Captain Teal's Company August 31, 1836 and is shown as having enlisted in the army _____ 1836. On page _____ he is listed as a member of Captain Jacob Snively's Company at muster, October 31, 1836 and was in confinement at that time. He was issued Bounty Certificate No. 4442 for 1280 acres of land November 23, 1838 for having served in the army from January 9, 1836 to January 9, 1838.

Mr. Campbell probably left Texas shortly after receiving his discharge from the army. He did not apply for a headright or for the land due him for having served in the army of Texas.
