TOLLETT, WESLEY - Shown on page 232 of the army rolls in the General Land Office as a member of Captain William H. Patton’s Company. He was issued Bounty Certificate No. 3131 for 320 acres of land May 2, 1838 for having served in the army from April 25 to July 23, 1836. On May 25, 1838 he was issued Donation Certificate No. 207 for 640 acres of land for having been detailed to guard the baggage at the camp opposite Harrisburg, April 21, 1836. The land was surveyed in the Nacogdoches Land District in what is now Rains County in 1844. In Headright Certificate No. 344 for one league and one labor of land issued to him in 1838 by the Board of Land Commissioners for Red River County it is stated that he came to Texas in 1831.
