PRICE, PERRY - Came to Texas in 1833, as is stated in Headright Certificate No. 48 for one-third of a league of land, January 17, 1838 by the Austin County Board of Land Commissioners.

He was a member of Captain Gibson Kuykendall’s company and on September 18, 1838 was issued Bounty Certificate No. 4312 for 320 acres of land for having served in the army from March 1 to May 30, 1836. He received Donation Certificate No. 546 for 640 acres of ladn, September 18, 1838 for having been detailed to guard the baggage at the camp opposite Harrisburg, April 21, 1836.

On an army roll in the General Land Office it is shown that he enrolled in Captain Benjamin F. Reavill’s Company, July 1, 1836.

Mr. Price was living in Fayette County, August 28, 1846 when he sold part of his headright land. (Book E 2, page 102, Deed Records of Fayette County).
