KUYKENDALL, JOHN - Shown on page 42 of the Army rolls in the General Land Office as one of the men of Captain Gibson Kuykendall’s company who were detailed to guard the camp opposite Harrisburg on April 21, 1836. The records of the General Land Office do not disclose that Mr. Kuykendall received either bounty or donation land for his services.

On page ______ of the army rolls Mr. Kuykendall is shown as a member of Captain H. N. Cleveland’s company of Mill Creek Volunteers, at muster July 1, 1836.

John J. Kuykendall was married December 13, 1842

In Montgomery County to Susan M. Cheek.
