Description
Banner (a), Army and Air Corps Mother's Club of Texas. White satin banner with club emblem, lettering and design in gold satin (appliqued). Design includes the United States eagle with sheaf of wheat in one claw, olive branch in the other. Scroll over eagle: "E. PLURIBUS UNUM". Gold 5-point star over the scroll. Airplane propeller blade on either side of the eagle. Wooden rod (b) with gold knobs at top of the banner (a); gold silk cord and tassels (c) attach to rod. Gold silk fringe at bottom edge of banner. Fair to good condition. Slight to moderate wrinkling; slight discoloration, staining (more moderate at top). Slight fraying at the letters, design.
